What is TEDx?
TEDx brings TED’s mission of sharing ideas into independently organised local events around the world.
Local teams create gatherings that combine live speakers, performances and selected TED Talks. TED grants each event a licence and provides its format and guidelines, while the local organisers independently shape the programme and experience.
TEDx events are intended to uncover ideas, share research and create meaningful discussion within their communities.

About TED
TED is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organisation devoted to ideas that deepen understanding and encourage meaningful change.
What began in 1984 as a conference bringing together technology, entertainment and design now connects people and ideas across disciplines, cultures and communities around the world.
TED's work includes its conferences and TED Talks alongside podcasts, TED-Ed, translated talks and global initiatives. TEDx extends that mission through independently organised local events such as TEDxEleusis.
TEDx principles
Local
Each event is rooted in the community it serves and creates space for local conversations.
Independent
TED provides the licence and programme guidelines; each TEDx team curates and produces its event independently.
Volunteer-led
TEDx events are brought to life by local organisers and volunteers rather than operated by TED.
Ideas first
Short, carefully prepared talks and performances are designed to encourage discussion and connection.
03 · Our event
TEDxEleusis
A local stage for ideas connected to Eleusis and conversations that travel beyond it.
TEDxEleusis 2027 will bring speakers, attendees and volunteers together for a day of carefully considered talks and shared discussion at the VTBD.
Our ambition is to create an open meeting point between disciplines, generations and perspectives—one that reflects the character of Eleusis while remaining connected to wider questions and ideas.
This independent TEDx event is operated under license from TED.
